Product Overview
Engineered for straight-stroke (10–150 mm) spring-return control
valves, the TORLEO C41GF-LSB is a flameproof (Ex db IIC T6 Gb)
single-acting smart valve positioner. A single-acting unit drives
one controlled output port (OUT1) and relies on the actuator’s
return spring for the reverse stroke, so the design targets the
real problems of that topology — uneven spring stiffness,
mechanical hysteresis and packing stiction. PID control, adjustable
exhaust damping and one-touch smart calibration hold ±0.3% F.S.
accuracy and stop the plug from fluttering under high differential
pressure. It is rated SIL3, and on loss of air or signal the spring
moves the valve to its fail-lock position. The split-body,
anti-high-temperature construction eases maintenance in hot
service.

Compact, rugged and lightweight, is a fully automatic, high
accuracy smart valve positioner. Featuring auto set-up, auto
configuration and auto calibration, the unit has an integral
auto-manual bypass switch. It offers split range setting,
configurable low flow cut-off and configurable valve output
characterization for unique applications.
The system provides accuracy and vibration-resistance for high
control valve performance, allowing tight process control and
reduction in product variability. It has a non-interactive zero and
span adjustment.
